Australia V New Zealand Brisbane

Australia v New Zealand Match Result 2011 - Aussies Claim Glory

This weekend we come to the final match of the 2011 Tri Nations tournament and it sees the All Blacks head to Brisbane to face the Aussies in what is a tournament decider. We have seen both sides win two matches and lose one so far so the winner on Saturday will lift the trophy ahead of the Rugby World Cup next month. New Zealand went to South Africa with an under strength side last weekend and were beaten so they will be eager to bounce back ahead of their home World Cup.

The Aussies have done well so far in this tournament with two wins against the South Africans to their name althoough they were beaten in New Zealand. It should be a tight match with two full strength teams, the All Blacks are the favourites but they will need to be on guard against a tough Australian side.
